Climate Ready Revegetation

As our climate continues to change, the way we restore and revegetate our landscapes needs to evolve. The South East Landcare Climate Ready Revegetation Project is helping Landcare groups, community nurseries, seed banks and restoration practitioners across south eastern New South Wales improve the resilience of future plantings through greater genetic diversity and informed seed sourcing.

The project aims to increase knowledge and build practical skills across the Landcare network by sharing the latest science, tools and resources that support climate-ready revegetation. By understanding how genetic diversity can improve the ability of native plant populations to adapt over time, Landcare groups and restoration practitioners can make more informed decisions about the seed they collect, grow and plant.

The project combines online learning, practical workshops and shared resources to support communities in applying climate-ready revegetation principles to their own projects and nurseries.

Climate Ready Revegetation Webinar

Learn about the science behind climate-ready revegetation and discover practical tools that can support more resilient restoration projects.

A webinar introducing the principles of genetically-informed restoration techniques to guide resilient plantings in a changing climate. Key Presentations:
