The NSW Landcare Program is a state, regional and local program empowering individuals and communities to take action on local problems and deliver outcomes across local and regional issues. The current program invested $22.4 million in the Landcare community and is co-delivered by Landcare NSW and NSW Local Land Services with the vision of unlocking the potential of the extensive volunteer network and Landcare movement across NSW. The program employs twelve Regional Landcare Coordinators and seventy two Local Landcare Coordinators across NSW. These Coordinators work directly with Landcare groups to improve their governance, communication, partnerships and ability to coordinate on ground activities. The next round of funding is being negotiated and will be finalised by the end of 2023.
