The south east region of New South Wales has a vast array of climates and landscapes from the wet, humid coastal regions to the dry, hot landscapes inland. The people running the nurseries have developed different skill sets that reflect the needs of their local groups and Landcare projects.
On this page you will find a list of Landcare affiliated nurseries and groups involved in direct seeding operations. The aim of this resource is to connect people in the business of buying and selling native plants propagated by Landcare groups and to connect people doing similar activities in the region. The idea for the page stemmed from a meeting of Landcarer’s hosted by South East Landcare in May 2023.
This is not an exhaustive list, if you are doing Landcare nursery work in this region and want to be listed on this page please contact us.

The YAN nurseries specialise in native plant cutting workshops, native plant germination testing, using smoke water to assist seed germination, nursery recording systems and spreadsheets, tray labelling and promotion. The main focus of the nurseries is propagating climate ready plants for dryer climates.
